It's always a pleasure to watch the British GP and the incredible support it has from the public. Considering the number of people who turned up to see the practice sessions, Silverstone should be granted permanent status on the calendar. The atmosphere is probably right up there with Monza. And if the English weather lives up to its name, we'll have a great race. Mark Webber gunning for revenge would help a lot as well. ;)

If we had a predictor championship for the qualifying sessions, I would be doing much better. :P Race after race these blokes line up in the order I predicted and then one nut invariably throws a hammer into the works. Though I'd rather my predictions were screwed if Alonso can win this one.

Quite possible I would say. Mark Webber will be seeing red. Literally.

It was awful from a Ferrari perspective, but I have to admit the people who finished in those places deserved those places. And I have huge respect for Mclaren, and they were the class of the field. No qualms in admitting that.

I doubt if there's anyone else who likes both Ferrari and Mclaren..

Anyways I think Shireen was a class apart this race, hopefully my exuberant calculations are right,
Ribena - 19x2 = 38 (Joker),
Nin 13 - 33,
Shireen - 53,
Schueyfan - 42,
SchumiLordOfF1 - 17,
Car_lover - 24,
bar555 - 23,
Sundar.f1 - 38

That means car_lover still leads, by 9 points on 385, Schueyfan moves up to second on 378, and I drop down to third on 376. Damn. :x

Hi guys - well, despite the dreadful result for Ferrari - the race was absolutely awesome! You should have heard the crowd - the whole of Silverstone erupted when Webber took Vettel - Webber was clearly the favourite and I'm so pleased he made his point! Well done to the McLarens (yes, it is possible to support both Ferrari and McLaren, Sundar because I also support Jenson!)

Highlight of Saturday was getting to within 4 metres of Schumi and Nico - although, dammit, my camera battery had completely died by then so was unable to get a picture - however, my friend managed to get one, so hopefully will get a copy of hers to post up.

Well done to all you guys on your predictions - mine were pretty far out - I guess this time I have Hamilton to thank for any points at all! :D

It was the best weekend of my year by far - and I just can't wait for next year!

Guys this is looking good. Ferrari Vs Red Bull for Q3, Schumi knocked out, as usual, and the lap times are tumbling.

Race 12 ...

Postby SCHUMI Lord of F1 » Sun Aug 01, 2010 5:20 am

@ Car_lover:

I meant 79.400 as pole time and not 69.400,, similarly 81.000 as fastest lap instead of 71.000 .... could they be reconsidered ?? :((
