Lewis Hamilton wins the Belgian Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton went on to win the 2010 Belgian Grand Prix. The young British driver got into the lead from the start of the race, as Mark Webber had a bad start. Lewis Hamilton was leading the race, when the struggling Jenson Button limping in the second position due to a damaged front wing. This helped Mclaren as Lewis Hamilton opened up a gap between him and his team-mate.Later on in the race. Jenson Button had to retire as Sebastian Vettel rear end his Mclaren, damaging the left rear suspension. Sebastial Vettel also finished outside points and lost some amount of ground as Lewis Hamilton and Mark Webber scored 25 and 18 points each. The other championship contender, Fernando Alonso too had a bad day. Starting with the qualifying, Rubens Barrichello came sliding into the back of his Ferrari, making pit within the first few laps. The Ferrari gambled off my putting on intermediate tyres on Alonso’s car which failed drastically, as the stopped drizzling. And later, Alonso spun off the track and broke his suspension.
